- I am by no means an expert in the “science” behind environmentalism. I cannot tell you, for example, the exact details of how a piece of paper is recycled, or how fossil fuels are converted into energy. I’m just a mom, who has found joy in living simply and sustainably. I do strive to be an expert at making environmental choices and incorporating them into my family’s lifestyle. This blog is my experience with all things environmental. I want to be able to give people honest feedback about specific “green” choices. My goal is to provide people ideas to “take the next step” in living sustainably. It is my hope that the current economic challenges will inspire people to get back to basics and find peace in a more simple lifestyle. We made a vouch to limit our use of Palm Oil. But it's in everything, Nutella included, so we're going to try and make our own this weekend.
